LPL Financial Advisor Randy Schmidt, CFP®
Randy grew up with his 4 brothers and sister working on the family farm in North Dakota. He completed his bachelor's degree while serving his country in the Army National Guard. In 1998, Randy moved to Michigan where he began his career as a professional Financial Advisor.
Randy is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional, a Registered Financial Consultant (RFC), Financial Planning Association Member, and Financial Services Institute Member. He also currently holds a FINRA Series 7 & 63 registration held through LPL Financial along with his insurance license in Life, Health, Long-Term Care & Disability.
Randy truly exceeds in helping his clients clarify their financial position, identifying their unique needs, and developing an effective action plan to pursue those goals. He has over 25 years of experience in the Financial Services industry; including Investment Management, Retirement Planning, Estate Planning, Financial Planning, Risk Management, and Income Tax Planning.
Randy alongside his wife, Missie, reside in Rockford with their four children. Outside of work he enjoys cooking, spending time on the lake with his family and volunteering in the community. He is a member of the Sparta Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club of Sparta & Kent City.

Office Manager/LPL Registered Assistant
Elizabeth joined the team in 2004 as an Administrative Assistant. After a short time away, she returned to work with Randy in 2017 as the Office Manager. She is a graduate of Davenport University and currently holds a FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 registrations through LPL Financial, along with her insurance in Life, Accident & Health.
As Office Manager she oversees all day to day activities in the office and works closely with clients on follow-up questions and inquires. She enjoys getting to know the clients on a personal level and knowing when they leave, they have a better understanding.
Elizabeth and her husband, Cory, live in Casnovia and have two grown children. When she is away from the office, she enjoys working on their hobby farm or relaxing with family.

Kathy joined the team in 2012 as the Client Relations Assistant. She will be the first person you hear when calling our office and the first person you see when entering our office. She appreciates the diversity that her job with Ridgetown Investments offers. As Client Relations, she will assist you with scheduling an appointment, servicing your requests and answering any questions you may have. She also coordinates client events and educational workshops, as well as provides clients with timely emails and newsletters to keep them current with Ridgetown Investments and all that we have to offer.
Kathy married her high school sweetheart, they are the 5th generation to live on the family farm in Wright. They have two grown daughters and love being grandparents!

Virtual Administrative Assistant
Scott joined the team in 2018 as a Virtual Administrative Assistant. He is an experienced financial service professional that is well-versed in administrative duties. His focus is to provide support on administrative tasks, such as preparing paperwork, creating account opening documents, processing distributions, reviewing notes and scheduling activities.
He has worked in the financial industry for over 25 years. Scott attended The Ohio State University where he pursued business administration and moved from Columbus, Ohio in May 2017. He currently resides in the Marina District in downtown San Diego, California. He enjoys playing basketball and being involved with his church.

Dusti joined the team in 2019 as an Administrative Assistant. Prior to joining the team, she worked as a Regional Service Associate and has 3 years of Insurance background. Her primary responsibility is preparing Client Review, Imaging and Data Management.
She and her husband, Dusty, have a daughter and a dog. When not working she is active in her church and enjoys volunteering around the holidays.
